HSDE Canada operates across two countries, bringing community-led programs to those who need them most. Whether supporting newcomer families navigating life in Winnipeg or expanding access to education and food security in the DRC, our commitment to dignity, solidarity, and empowerment remains constant.
Each region has its own dedicated team and programs, shaped by the specific needs and strengths of the local community — but guided by the same values that define everything we do.
Canada
Winnipeg, Manitoba
Supporting children, youth, and families — especially newcomers, racialized, and marginalized communities — in Winnipeg. Our Canadian operations deliver after-school programs, mental health support, community care, and food assistance directly to those who need it most.
Democratic Republic of the Congo
Bukavu & Kinshasa
Expanding access to education, food security, child protection, and basic needs in North and South Kivu, while addressing youth homelessness and health support in Kinshasa. Our DRC team works in some of the most under-resourced communities in the region, driven by the belief that geography should never limit human potential.
